MS Nitrox
MS Nitrox
“Nitrox” – Specialized vessel for advanced diving operations
M/S Nitrox is a purpose-built diving vessel designed to handle even the most complex underwater operations. With high functionality, great flexibility, and a strong focus on safety and comfort, “Nitrox” offers a complete solution for demanding diving and ROV projects.
The vessel is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for air diving down to 50 meters and has the capacity to support deeper dives when required – including the option to place a decompression chamber on deck for added safety. The open and spacious deck area ensures good workflow and facilitates efficient handling of equipment and logistics.
One of the vessel’s key advantages is the integrated control room for both diving and ROV operations. Here, the dive supervisor, ROV pilot, and client representative can sit together in calm, controlled surroundings with direct oversight of operations. This setup enables so-called joint operations, where close collaboration and clear communication between parties provide increased efficiency, better decision-making, and higher operational safety.
Nitrox is also equipped with three powerful cranes of different ranges and capacities for flexible handling of lifting operations, ROVs, and subsea equipment. A dedicated ROV hangar protects equipment and simplifies preparations and maintenance between dives.
The cabins are comfortable and designed for long missions at sea, with focus on both rest and privacy for crew and divers. A well-equipped workshop allows for repairs, maintenance, and adjustment of technical equipment during projects.
