DSV Heliox is a modern catamaran vessel designed for flexible and demanding underwater operations. With its robust construction, high stability, and space-efficient solutions, “Heliox” is well suited for both specialized underwater assignments and general maritime services.

The vessel is equipped with a diver support system and an OBS-ROV, making it particularly suitable as a base vessel for shorter diving or ROV operations. Its compact size makes it ideal where mobilization from shore or smaller ports is required, while the deck area provides sufficient capacity for technical equipment and operations.

Stability and Operational Flexibility

The catamaran hull provides an excellent platform with high stability during operations. Heliox is built to handle a variety of tasks, from inspection and maintenance to smaller installations and standby operations. The solid load capacity, combined with technical infrastructure such as winches, power outlets, and deckhouse, makes the vessel an efficient work platform in demanding environments.

ROV and Diving Capacity

Heliox operates with a Deep Trekker Pivot ROV capable of diving down to 300 meters. The ROV is equipped with a 4K camera, providing high-quality imagery for inspection and monitoring. With its lightweight and compact design, it is easy to handle while delivering precise and stable data for analysis. Combined with the vessel’s diver support equipment, this makes Heliox a strong choice for combined operations.

Comfort and Accessibility

Despite its compact size, the vessel is designed for practical and safe operations. The deck area is well utilized for workflow, and access to onboard infrastructure, including wheelhouse, capstan, and deck crane, provides essential support for operations. Heliox is built to be a mid-range solution within the fleet – smaller than MS Nitrox, but offering high functionality where flexibility and easy mobilization are critical.
