Personal data Kystarbeid AS receives
Kystarbeid AS has two sources of personal data, both based on Section 8 of the Personal Data Act.
The main source is information you provide yourself, primarily through the contact form on the Kystarbeid AS website. The form serves as a meeting point between potential/existing customers and Kystarbeid AS. It is entirely voluntary whether you wish to fill in this form or remain a passive visitor to the site. Personal data collected via the contact form includes phone number, email, and name.
Further personal information may be generated through subsequent correspondence by email, phone, or similar between Kystarbeid AS and you as a potential/existing customer.
Another source is information collected by Kystarbeid AS itself, through Google Analytics. This captures, for example, how long you stay on the site, your IP address, which links you click, and the number of users on the site at different times.
How Kystarbeid AS uses personal data
The purpose of the contact form and subsequent correspondence is to follow up on inquiries and obligations towards customers. Kystarbeid AS depends on such an open platform between itself and its customers to ensure satisfactory communication and end results.
The purpose of the information from Google Analytics is to improve the website experience. This may include making layouts more user-friendly, understanding user trends, improving efficiency, delivering services in a better way, and preventing criminal behavior such as hacking.
The legal basis for Kystarbeid AS’s processing of personal data is Section 11 of the Personal Data Act.
How to manage your own personal data
The limited amount of personal data Kystarbeid AS collects compared to other operators and services is very marginal. For this reason, user-controlled settings, such as app settings or personalized advertising, are not relevant here. The personal data collected is not used for such purposes.
You still always have rights related to your personal data, described below.
Information sharing with third parties
Kystarbeid AS does not share any personal data from the contact form, its own collection, or other sources with third parties. Should such sharing occur, your consent will always be requested in advance.
Secure archiving, deletion, and internal control
In accordance with Section 13 of the Personal Data Act, all personal data received by Kystarbeid AS will be archived on a secure email or server as long as the working relationship between you and Kystarbeid AS continues. When the relationship ends, all communication and personal data will be deleted within 2 years.
Kystarbeid AS maintains internal control to ensure archiving, security, and deletion are carried out according to goals and legal standards.
